• In the general settings area, set the Wi-Fi enable or enable Wi-Fi with the Wi-Fi button

• In the setting area, change the SSID (Device name) and password to the desired ones

• Click submit to save the settings

a. What is an Alternate Number?

• This is a customer’s number other than the one which is being used in the Smartbox (Home Broadband Device) like ODU or MiFi.

• Customer must ensure that this number is used in a mobile phone which is able to receive messages and also able to use USSD

• It is a must for a customer to register an alternate number for the bundle function

• The alternate number will have three key uses:

i. To receive bundle usage notifications

ii To purchase bundles for the number in the ODU /MiFi 3) To check balance for the number in the ODU /MiFi

  • Using the mobile phone number you want to register as Alternate number:

    • Dial *301#

    • Select Home Broadband

    • Select register Alternate number

    • Enter phone number being used in Home Broadband Device

    • Confirm number

    • You will receive confirmation message of registration

  • Ensure the SIM card to be placed in the ODU is duly registered. Using the Alternate number or any mobile number:

    • Dial *301#

    • Select Internet bundles

    • Select Home Broadband

    • Select Redeem Free Bundle

    • Enter device (ODU) IMEI

    • Entre phone number which will be used or is already in the ODU

    • Confirm intention to redeem free bundle

    • Your will receive a transaction confirmation message

    • Your will receive a transaction confirmation message
