Brief History; The Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources is a university outside Lilongwe, Malawi. It was formed in 2011 by a merger between Bunda College of Agriculture of the University of Malawi and Natural Resources College.

The following policies and procedures are applicable to all students who officially register for programmes at the LUANAR. The Institute reserves the right to change fees without prior notice. However, fee changes are subject to approval by the Governing Council and we will update it ASAP.

2.2. Accommodation arrangements
2.2.1. NRC Campus
Limited campus accommodation is available at a fee of MK 78,000.00 per semester which should be deposited through the bank and proof of payment must be produced during checking in. Interested candidates need to apply for accommodation in advance By Calling 0994000361. Accommodation fees should only be deposited after confirmation of hostel space.

2.2.2. Bunda College – City campus
The university does not provide any accommodation at its City Campus.

2.2.3. Bunda College – Bunda Campus
Limited campus accommodation is available for undergraduate and postgraduate students at minimum semester fees of MK10,000.00 and MWK45,000.00, respectively. Interested candidates should apply using an application form which can be obtained from the LUANAR website www.luanar.ac.mw.

2.3. Payment procedure
All candidates must pay their fees using one of the applicable accounts listed below. Candidates MUST ensure that they have indicated their full names and LUANAR Candidate registration number on the deposit slips, and it is duly stamped. The deposit slips should be presented during registration.
