Brief History; Kamuzu College of Nursing has also been recognized as a leader in Nursing and Midwifery education that conforms to national and international standards of nursing and midwifery competence, outstanding faculties and departments with 6 Undergraduate, 8 Post Basic, 6 Masters and 3 Doctoral programmes and is affiliated with three other national colleges namely; Daeyang Luke College of Nursing, Malawi College of Health Sciences and Saint John of God College of Health Sciences.

UNIMA Kamuzu College of Nursing Entry Requirements
An applicant must have the following qualifications;

• MSCE/O-Level credits in Biology, Physical Science, English and Mathematics.
• University diploma in Nursing.
• Be a Registered Nurse/ Midwife.
• In addition, all candidates are expected to have at least 2 years of work experience in either nursing or midwifery at the RN level.
• Applicants with distinction and credit pass in their previous academic records shall have an added advantage.

How to Apply
Qualifying candidates should obtain application forms from the registry at both Lilongwe and Blantyre campuses.

All applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of MK14,000.00 for all Malawian applicants and $100.00 for all international applicants. The application fees must be deposited to KCN Main Account Number 321068, National Bank, Lilongwe Branch.
