GRADUATION ARRANGEMENTS
Graduands and the general public should also note that due to the prescribed and gazetted Covid-19 regulations by Government, ONLY GRADUANDS shall be allowed into the Great Hall during both streams of the ceremony. The public should further note that parents and guardians SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED to physically witness the ceremony in the Great Hall instead virtual platforms shall be used for the general public to follow the ceremony.
Academic dress for the Congregation shall be available for hire from graduands’ respective Colleges. The hiring charges for the graduation attire are as follows:
(a) Diploma Set MK8,000
(b) Bachelors Set MK10,000
(c) Masters Set MK30,000
(d) PhD Set MK40,000
All candidates must return their academic dress immediately after graduation. Any unreturned academic dress shall attract a penalty fee of K5, 000 for the first day of delay and K2, 000 for each subsequent day of delay payable before the release of the certificate.
Candidates who owe the College money shall not be allowed to graduate. Candidates who require photography services shall be informed about the details of accredited photographers during rehearsals.
All photographers SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED entry into the Great Hall during the ceremony instead a specifically designated place for photographers and other businesses has been arranged and everyone shall be required to pay to the Cashier on the day of rehearsals as follows:
- outside the Great Hall K10, 000
- other businesses K5, 000
